Kiwatchi Adventures LLC is an outdoor adventure company based in Isabella, Minnesota, dedicated to sharing the beauty and traditions of the Northwoods through unforgettable experiences. From guided dog sledding tours in winter to seasonal sled dog cart rides, rafting and kayaking adventures, and Boundary Waters fishing trips, we invite guests to experience northern Minnesota in every season.

Led by experienced musher Charles Gould, Kiwatchi Adventures combines decades of hands-on knowledge with a passion for the outdoors. Every adventure is thoughtfully planned to provide a safe, enjoyable, and authentic experience for families, couples, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts visiting from near and far.

More Than a Dog Sled Ride

Our adventures are designed to immerse you in the natural beauty of northern Minnesota. Dog sledding tours typically last three to four hours, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, stop for photos, and learn about the history of mushing and the incredible teamwork of our sled dogs.

During spring and fall, when temperatures are below 60°F, guests can experience the excitement of sled dog cart rides. We also offer seasonal rafting and kayaking adventures, along with guided fishing trips into the Boundary Waters, where you can target walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and trout.

Rooted in Northwoods Heritage

Our property is home to a historic log cabin built in 1917, reflecting the rich history and character of the region. Surrounded by forests, lakes, and scenic trails, Kiwatchi Adventures provides the perfect setting to unplug, explore, and create lasting memories in the great outdoors.
