"We loved our dog sledding adventure! Charles is a master musher with a long history in the sport. Even in -36°F weather, he kept us comfortable with warm blankets and hot water bottles. The dogs are fantastic and born to pull."

Where is Kiwatchi Adventures located?
Kiwatchi Adventures LLC is located at 9871 Highway 1, Isabella, Minnesota 55607, United States, surrounded by the beautiful forests, lakes, and wilderness of northern Minnesota. Our location provides easy access to unforgettable dog sledding adventures, Boundary Waters fishing trips, and seasonal outdoor experiences.
How long are your dog sledding tours?
Our guided dog sledding tours typically last three to four hours, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the ride, stop for scenic photos, and learn about sled dogs, mushing traditions, and the surrounding Northwoods. We focus on creating relaxed, memorable experiences rather than rushing through the adventure.
Do I need previous dog sledding experience?
No experience is necessary. Our tours are designed for both first-time visitors and experienced outdoor enthusiasts. Before your adventure begins, we'll explain what to expect and answer any questions so you can enjoy the experience with confidence.
What other adventures do you offer?
In addition to winter dog sledding tours, we offer seasonal sled dog cart rides during spring and fall when temperatures are below 60°F. We also provide seasonal rafting and kayaking adventures, along with guided Boundary Waters fishing trips for guests who want to experience northern Minnesota throughout the year.

What should I wear?

For rafting, kayaking, and fishing trips, comfortable clothing, sturdy footwear, and weather-appropriate gear will help you enjoy your adventure.
Are your adventures family-friendly?
Yes. We welcome families, couples, friends, and small groups looking to experience the outdoors together. If you have young children or specific questions about your group, please contact us before booking so we can recommend the best adventure for your needs.
